Next Test For Illinois Marriage Equality Bill Slated For Next Week

Illinois's same-sex marriage bill is headed for committee Feb. 26 after it passed out of the Senate on Valentine's Day.

The Religious Freedom and Marriage Fairness Act has been assigned to the House Executive Committee, its first test before it can go a full House vote.

A date has not been set for a full House vote yet, said Bernard Cherkasov, CEO of Equality Illinois.
