The actor, whose cousin is "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, has landed the lead role on the teen-centric network's "Tomorrow People" pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The "Revenge" alum will coincidentally play a young man named Stephen, who just wants to be normal and is relieved to learn he's part of the Tomorrow People ("who represent the next stage in human evolution") ... instead of just crazy, THR reports. He possesses the gifts of telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation and stopping time.

Ryan Hansen ia a "Bad Teacher." The "Veronica Mars" alum has joined the movie-inspired CBS comedy pilot about sexy divorcee Meredith (Ari Graynor), who becomes a teacher to find her next husband. Could Hansen's Joel, the gym coach, be the one? [TVLine]

"Sleepy Hollow" has found its leading lady. Nicole Beharie has been tapped to star in the drama pilot as Abbie Archer, a detective who's set to leave Sleepy Hollow for the FBI Academy, but "her troubling past causes her to doubt her perceptive abilities, and she's horrified as she witnesses the gory slaying of her partner and mentor, Sheriff August Grey." [THR]

Joey McIntyre could join Donnie Wahlberg on CBS. The New Kid On The Block has been cast in "The McCarthys" as Gerard McCarthy, unhappily the shortest one in his sports-crazed family. Jessica Chaffin also joins the cast as his sister Jackie, "who swings wildly from overconfidence to insecurity, and is completely unaware that she’s her mother’s (Jacki Weaver) least favorite."
