'Savage Family Diggers': Ric Finds A Harpoon, Other Whaling Artifacts

On the latest episode of "Savage Family Diggers," Ric and his clan were in Massachusetts in search of whaling artifacts. With his signature dramatics, Ric was more than just a little enthusiastic when he found a very cool -- and very deadly -- artifact.

"There she blows! Boom baby!" he shouted. "This is a killing lance -- this is a harpoon." He explained that they were thrown like javelins by whale hunters.

All told, Ric and his family made $6,000 by selling the harpoon, as well as some other items they found, including a lance and an anchor. They may want to put that money in the bank, though.

Spike TV has announced that "Savage Family Diggers" is relocating to Saturday nights at 10 p.m. EST starting March 2nd. Television viewers know that Saturdays is not generally a night where shows are moved because their networks have faith in them to grow. Could Spike be just burning off the rest of the season before pulling the plug?

For now, "Savage Family Diggers" continues on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on Spike.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
