New to the market today and asking $4.4M, a house that pulls elements from all over, starting as a deconstructed Victorian with bay windows and a scrap of cornice, some shingled Marin cottage here and a little Post & Beam there. Inside, there's William Wurster-influenced detailing in the well-proportioned rooms, custom double-hung windows, and French doors. The architect, John Field, managed to make a small house on a constrained lot seem quite grand but with plenty of private spaces. It's also great to see a house that's only been partially staged for sale:
