Cincinnati's Top Cop Eyes Detroit Job

DPD's Next Leader Might Come From Ohio

Detroit -- Cincinnati's police chief says he was contacted by a recruiter to become the Motor City's top cop -- but that's news to the man spearheading the search.

Cincinnati Police Chief James E. Craig said Friday he was contacted several months ago about taking the position that opened in October when Ralph Godbee Jr. resigned amid a sex scandal involving a subordinate officer. Chester Logan has since served as interim chief.
