WATCH: The Unprovoked Attack That Sent Thug To Prison

A man caught on film as he bludgeoned a random 16-year-old girl in the head has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Michael Ayoade, 35, admitted to commiting what Judge Roger Chapple called "vicious, unprovoked attacks on young, lone females," Sky News reports.

The 16-year-old victim was walking near the Black Lion pub in High Street, Plaistow, when Ayoade jogged up behind her and punched her in the head.

She fell to the ground and was left lying unconscious on the pavement.

At the time, the female victim told police she had no idea who attacked her. Ayoade later told the court that he did not like the way she looked at him.

Ayoade also confessed to assaulting a female student from Birmingham who was trying to purchase a ticket at a train station, according to the International Business Times.

"I am concerned of the risk he poses to others, especially lone women," Chapple added. "These are the sort of attacks which cause the public ever greater concern. The public fear for their safety even in the hours of daylight."
