Justin Bieber, Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke Dating? British Singer Denies Romance

Justin Bieber Dating British Singer? Not So Fast

Since Justin Bieber kicked off his European tour, U.K. tabloids have claimed he is dating British singer Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke. However, the 17-year-old aspiring star denies the romance rumors.

Last week, the Mirror reported that Bieber had moved on from ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez with Clarke after they were spotted together at a Justin Timberlake concert on Feb. 20. The tabloid alleged the two were first introduced by friends in Los Angeles and when the "Boyfriend" singer arrived in the U.K. he took her out on a date.

“She was introduced to Justin by a mutual friend," a person close to Clarke allegedly told the Mirror. "She is always going to L.A. and mixes with lots of people in the industry, which is where she met Justin. Ella knows she will be the envy of millions of girls, but it is early days and she is just enjoying herself and having some fun.”

But, on Sunday, Clarke quashed the Bieber rumors, ABC News noted. In one tweet, she reportedly bashed the "sources" used by the British papers, calling them "people I barely knew who wanted quick cash."

Clarke also retweeted various messages from her friends, according to ABC news, including one that read: "So I just read a newspaper article about exactly what you think i’m talking about and it was so ridiculously untrue I actually reeled. are they just allowed to invent things? so and so and so and so have gone public/official. Well, no. what? no.”

Despite the denial, Clarke was seen leaving London's Project nightclub just minutes after Bieber on Tuesday night, the Mirror reported. She was then chauffeured in a Bentley to the Langham Hotel where the pop superstar was supposedly staying.

After his breakup with Gomez, Bieber opened up to Billboard in January saying that he wasn't in the "happiest place" but was still managing to have a good time.

"I'm 18. I have a great team around me. I have great friends. We have a blast," he told Billboard's Bill Werde. "They keep me occupied and my mind off of the negative things ... When you are 18, you're going through that transition. You have a high school girlfriend, you might not. Going to college. Figuring yourself out, leaving home."
