Johnny Galecki Recalls Watching Plane Passengers Watch 'The Big Bang Theory' On 'Conan' (VIDEO)

Johnny Galecki Watched Passengers Watch 'Big Bang'

Johnny Galecki knows he makes people laugh with his performance on "The Big Bang Theory" each week. But he's not used to watching while they do it. He talked about an unusual experience he had on his recent USO tour on "Conan" that had him doing just that.

He'd booked a trip to Japan for a USO tour, and they set him up with business class seating for the 17-hour flight. What made it a little unusual was that his seat was facing into the economy section, which seated 200-plus people. He said it felt like he was being judged the whole flight. But that wasn't the most awkward part of the story.

"At one point, many of the people just, kind of, started intently looking at me a little bit closer," Galecki said. "And one of the flight attendants told me ... that they started playing ‘The Big Bang Theory’ in the main cabin on a loop."

So basically Galecki was watching this audience of 200-plus people watch him on "The Big Bang Theory." Hopefully they were at least laughing, between awkward glances his way.

As for the show itself, Galecki is having a blast. He recently said he hopes they drag out the Penny and Leonard romance as long as possible. Considering its ratings dominance, they've probably got several more years in them to do just that.

See how far the drag it on by tuning in to "The Big Bang Theory" on Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. "Conan" airs every weeknight at 11 p.m. EST on TBS.
