There are lots of perks of having a roommate. You don't have to worry if you forget your house keys, you always have someone to eat dinner or watch TV with and you never have to fight off unwanted critters alone.
Of course, there are other times when bunking up with someone can be a nightmare -- even if they are your best friend in the world. We can't count the number of times we've shared a space with someone who's told us they forgot to pay rent, ate all the food or announced some unfortunate news, like they're moving out -- with only two days notice.
