Joan Rivers Wants 'Project Runway' Designers And Senior Citizen Models To Sex It Up (VIDEO)

'Project Runway': Joan Rivers Wants Sexy Senior Designs

Contestants knew to expect laughs when they found out Joan Rivers would be a guest judge on "Project Runway," but she proved a tough critic as well. Perhaps it was because the theme of the week was designing looks for senior citizens, and Joan Rivers is determined to turn back the hands of time. In other words, she wanted the designers and their elderly models to get more risque.

Some of Rivers choice comments included "You look like a first wife. I’d like to see you look more like a GILF" and "I think she is a menopausal kitten."

But it was a tame outing for Rivers, compared to some of her more recent comments. She's certainly no stranger to controversy, courting it both for calling Adele fat and for making a Holocaust joke about Heidi Klum's Oscars dress. In true Joan Rivers fashion, she has refused to apologize.

In the end, Benjamin couldn't get his skirt straight, and made his model uncomfortable in a skintight dress. It was enough to send him packing.

The competition moves on to duct tape next on "Project Runway," Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
