Michael Jordan Paternity Suit: Pamela Smith Sues, Saying 16-Year-Old Son Is Hall Of Famer's

Lawsuit: Is This Michael Jordan's Secret Son?

A Georgia woman has sued Michael Jordan for child support and medical bills, saying her 16-year-old son is a product of a relationship with Jordan in 1995 while the basketball hero was still married to Juanita Vanoy, according to TMZ.

Pamela Smith also said in the Feb. 6-dated suit that she would like the court to change the legal last name of her son, Grant Pierce Jordan Reynolds, whose nickname is Taj, to Jordan, the celebrity gossip site writes. Smith added in the complaint that she "welcomes" a paternity test.

In a video posted on YouTube in December of 2012, Taj tells viewers that Jordan is his father and should stop being secretive about their relationship. He says the two have met and that "he should be more in my life about it."

The New York Post noted that Taj has a Reverbnation page which says he is a hip-hop artist. The site praises his musical talent as "nothing short of genius."

Jordan's rep, Estee Portnoy, told The Huffington Post early Friday, "I have no comment at this time."
