Chile has become famous for bringing some of the most important Latino and international artists worldwide, to form part of their renowned musical celebration “Festival de la Canción de Viñal del Mar.”

This year wasn’t the exception, with the participation of popular stars like Elton John, Jonas Brothers, Albert Hammond, Daddy Yankee, Romeo Santos, among others.

Using a black piano on stage on Thursday, Elton John sang some of his biggest hits, and was later awarded by the audience and the event’s organizers with the gold statue, the biggest symbol of recognition given in the festival, the Associated Press reports.

But it was the Jonas Brothers who made Chileans fans go frantic, making the audience sing along while carrying posters with love messages.

Other artists like Spanish singer Miguel Bosé, Venezuelans Chino y Nacho and Mexican band Maná, attended the special event during the week amusing their followers with some of their most successful songs.

The closing of the celebration on Friday fell in the hands of Mexican pop artist Gloria Trevi, and Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin And Yandel, who along with Pablo Alborán and the Auténticos Decadentes, put an end to a week full of memorable moments.
