'Blue Balls Blues' VIDEO: PSA For Safe Sex Goes Nuts With Puppet Testicles

The award for best new video with puppet testicles is in the bag.

Rusty and Vern hang out together to sing the "Blue Balls Blues" in a fun public service announcement to promote safe sex.

"If you forget your protection, say so long to your mighty man erection," goes one of the lyrics.

The vid cuts between the animated saga of a man anticipating a hot date and the shriveled performers. (Think the California Raisins in the 1980s commercials, but replace "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" with a ditty about remembering your condoms to avoid the pain of blue you-know-whats.)

The nutty spot was produced by T2 Studios in Kansas City, Mo., as "a passion piece," T2 creative director Travis Schlitter told The Huffington Post. "Just a group of creatives trying to get things done," he said.

Afraid to watch sensible testicles croon about packing contraception?

Oh, grow a pair.
