A 10-year-old girl and her 14-year-old sister were each injured in separate hit-and-run car accidents just three days apart from one another, according to MyFoxPhilly.

Sarah Givens, the younger sibling, was walking in Fishtown, Pa., on Thursday when a white SUV struck her and fled the scene. In a tragic coincidence, her sister was injured by another reckless driver less than 72 hours later.

Kylee Givens is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit at Aria Torresdale Hospital, ABC 6 reports.

According to NBC 10:

Police say Kylee was walking on Cheltenham and Torresdale Avenue on Saturday around 8:30 p.m. when she was struck by a white 4-door vehicle with tint, driven by a man. Investigators say the suspect stopped a half a block away from the scene and then fled before police arrived.

Doctors were forced to remove Kylee's spleen.

Asked by NBC 10 what she would tell the person who hit her and fled, Sarah said, "I would tell them that I'm really mad at them."

No arrests have been made in either case. Those with information are encouraged to contact the Philadelphia police.
