Snooki: I Don't Want Jionni LaValle 'To Run Away Ever From Me'

Losing the weight gained during pregnancy can prove a daunting task for any new mom. In fact, Scott Disick's insensitive remarks about girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian's post-baby body sparked a tiff between the couple on this week's episode of "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami" (not to mention, subsequent Twitter outrage).

But in a new Us Weekly cover story, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 25, enthusiastically reveals that she's been hitting the gym since giving birth to son Lorenzo in August -- especially because she wants to keep the attention of fiance Jionni LaValle.

"Even though I'm busy with Lorenzo all the time, I still want to look good for Jionni, 'cause I don't want him to run away ever from me," she said. "So I basically try to go to the gym all the time and train with my trainer and do cardio as much as possible."

The "Jersey Shore" alum has already shed an impressive 42 pounds from her 4-foot-9 frame, and notes that when one doesn't have free weights handy, a baby makes a great substitute for fitness equipment.

"If you can't make it to the gym, you can always work out with your baby," the resourceful star advised, explaining that lifting little Enzo helps tone her arms. "He likes to go up and down. We call him Super Lorenzo so he flies."

Snooki previously discussed her weight loss with People in January.

"It wasn't easy. I'm still working my ass off, but it's all worth it," she told the magazine. "I'm now motivated and I want to change my body. It's a good feeling to work out because I feel much better. Plus, my guy Jionni likes it."
