Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, YouGov BrandIndex has released its annual list of the best perceived beers in the country.

While craft beer aficionados might be shouting for brews like Pliny The Elder and Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA, let's take a second to remember that America is a big country. The YouGov survey took into account only major beer brands, and asked respondents "If you've heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative?"

YouGov BrandIndex measurement scores range from 100 to -100 and are compiled by subtracting negative feedback from positive. A zero score means equal positive and negative feedback.
