Kristen Stewart is not the only Stewart in showbusiness.

In fact, both of her parents have been in the industry for years -- her father, John, is a TV producer and stage manager, while her mother, Jules, is a longtime script supervisor, who made her directorial debut with "K-11," which hits theaters on March 15.

The film follows a record producer who winds up in jail after a blackout, and is placed in K-11, the wing of prison reserved for homosexual and transgender prisoners.

"It's extremely frustrating for me, because she's 22 years old and I'm almost 60," Jules told the Los Angeles Times. "In terms of life experience — hello! — I have it all over her. It's not like I came out of nowhere."

According to the paper, it was Jules' knowledge of the industry that helped Kristen break into the business. And while she's thrilled by Kristen's success, she's ready to let the world know her as more than just Kristen Stewart's mom.

"To the world, I have no name. I am 'Mama Stew' — that's what they call me, all of her zillions of fans. Or I'm Kristen's mom; I'm famous for being her mom," she told the LA Times. " My own thing going on. And I would hate to think that it's because of my 22-year-old that I got to direct a movie."

Still, it's worth noting that Jules initially planned on having her daughter take on a role as a rape victim in the film, but she had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts, according to Gawker. While Kristen does make a voice cameo during a phone call in the film, it's clear that her mother doesn't mind using her daughters fame to her benefit.
