Art Linares CPAC: Connecticut State Senator Addresses Annual Conservative Conference

State Senator Gives CPAC Address

Art Linares, a 24-year-old Republican state senator from Connecticut, addressed the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday.

Linares spoke about how he was inspired by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and former Vice President Dick Cheney, who told him the way to make a difference was to get his name on a ballot.

"I'm here to challenge you to put your name on a ballot," Linares said.
