'Mad Men' Star Elisabeth Moss Talks Don And Peggy Getting Together In Season 6

The New 'Mad Men' Power Couple?

Once famous for sleeping his way through the women of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, Don finally turned one of his trysts into a marriage and gave up his philandering ways for an entire season.

But when Season 5 ended with Don (Jon Hamm) and Megan's (Jessica Pare) relationship on the rocks, it looked like Don could be falling back into his cheating habits. While the obvious choice seemed to be Joan (Christina Hendricks), viewers have speculated that Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) could be his next target.

"I certainly hope [Don and Peggy] don't get together," Moss told New York Times Magazine. "Anyone who sleeps with Don does not have a long road ahead of them. It’s like the kiss of death to sleep with Don. I really think it would be jumping the shark to do that."

But if Don and Peggy were to sleep together, it wouldn't exactly cause problems at the office. Peggy left Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce at the end of last season, much to the surprise of Moss herself.

"[I didn't know] until we were shooting Episode 10, the one right before it," Moss told THR of her famous "quitting episode." "It was unusual that [series creator Matthew Weiner] didn't tell me. He usually tells me what's happening, pitches me things to ask me how they sound."

Catch the two-hour Season 6 premiere of "Mad Men," airing on Sun., April 7 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
