Recipe Of The Day: Halibut

Grilled and topped with tomato butter.

Seafood recipes make us think of summer. And with winter drawing to a close (finally!) there's no time like the present to start embracing those summer types of dishes. Halibut is a people-pleaser type of fish. It's mild in flavor, and has a light and fresh texture. It also pairs very well with homemade tomato butter -- yes, you want to make this butter.

Since halibut comes into season in the spring -- even though it can now be found year-round -- we think it makes a great celebrate-the-end-of-winter fish. Enjoy it now through the end of fall for the best flavor. And don't forget the tomato butter!
