This is definitely one of our favorite repurposing ideas.

Since the days have begun to feel a little longer, we have sprucing up our gardens on our minds. But you know, sometimes all of the necessary supplies can be a bit pricey. And, if you don't have a lot of space, chances are you aren't keeping these seasonal tools in your home, making if difficult to maintain even a small windowsill garden But we came across this awesome DIY watering can made from a milk jug on Reddit that will be perfect for even a novice green thumb.

We also found a similar how-to from Astra from "A Journey To A Dream," who simply heated the end of a needle to poke holes through the container. Another great alternative is to use an empty laundry detergent bottle like the blogger from "Hawaii Gardening" did.

We absolutely love these repurposing ideas because they're super easy to make and totally as effective as store-bought accessories. This is great option for beginning gardeners who want to test out their skills before they advance to more expensive options. Or, can be used by a veteran who likes to upcycle.
