Joy Behar Writing Comedy Act About 'The View': Report

Will Joy Behar Tell All After 'The View'?

Will Joy Behar tell all about drama at "The View" in an upcoming comedy tour?

A source told The New York Daily News that Behar is planning to do a cross-country tour after she leaves the show this summer. She is reportedly writing a new act about the behind-the-scenes at "The View," and it has the potential to be very juicy. "Joy knows everything, she’s lasted this whole time," the source said.

“She knows which host had trouble borrowing clothes for the show because they often returned them soiled,” the source told the newspaper. “And then there is the whole Rosie O’Donnell drama, not to mention working with Barbara.”

Behar announced earlier this month that she was leaving the show after sixteen years. She said she had reached a point where she wanted to exit, and was leaving to pursue other projects, including standup comedy.

She is the last of the original co-hosts, besides Barbara Walters, currently on "The View." She was there for Star Jones' feud with Walters and O'Donnell's messy departure from the show, among other dramatic moments.

"Our source also tells us that since it’s in the name of comedy, Behar’s not frightened about Walters’ reaction," the Daily News reported.
