When Kate Middleton stepped out today in her black and white minidress we thought: Well, that's a little trendy for the duchess.
While Catherine tends to set trends herself (see here and here), it's not very often that we see her veer into funky fashion with less classic looks (see here). So we definitely took pause when we saw the Duchess of Cambridge in her cropped ensemble at the Child Bereavement center today. The flowy fabric, the Peter Pan collar... wait, didn't her sister Pippa wear that before?
Not quite, but close. Back in 2011, Pips ran errands in London wearing a very similar pilgrim-style dress. Of course, Kate went with her trusty brand Topshop for her maternity take today (maaaybe she bought it during this shopping trip), while her little sis wore a Susannah version.
The Middleton sisters have actually been pretty in sync these days when it comes to style. Last week, at London's Cheltenham Racecourse, Pippa took a page out of Kate's stylebook with her fur hat. Obviously, they inspire each other (sometimes for the worse).
So who do you think wore their Peter Pan collar better: Kate or Pippa?
