And in Chicago, where he opened an eponymous eatery in 2007 in the city's Bucktown neighborhood, the sushi savant's dishes have continued to delight as they draw from his Japanese roots while also utilizing untraditional ingredients.
Yagihashi, who also helms Slurping Turtle, recently spoke with Chat Chow TV (embedded above) about his award-winning grub.
