Jenny McCarthy Not Replacing Joy Behar On 'The View'

Is Jenny McCarthy Replacing Joy Behar?

Jenny McCarthy confirmed that she will not be joining "The View," the New York Post reported on Thursday.

After "The View's" Joy Behar announced she would be leaving the ABC daytime show at the end of the season, the media rushed to learn who might replace the longtime host. Rumors swirled that the show was interested in Brooke Shields, Ali Wentworth, Jenny McCarthy and more.

McCarthy told "Extra" that she will only guest-host the show as "The View" searched for Behar's replacement since she has her own show on VH1.

Rumors are also churning about Elisabeth Hasselbeck's future on the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, market research informed show producers that both Behar and Hasselbeck's strong political views were alienating some viewers. Though Walters insisted that Hasselbeck was not leaving the show, sources have told multiple publications that her days are numbered. The Post reported on Thursday that CNN president Jeff Zucker was interested in Hasselbeck.
