Need 31 Screens, And Antler Chandeliers, For March Madness?

WASHINGTON -- Just in time for March Madness, The Gryphon is ready to show as many NCAA basketball tournament games as you could possibly need.

After a soft opening last week, the Dupont Circle spot located at 1337 Connecticut Avenue, NW, is serving alligator to people who didn't realize they could get alligator near downtown D.C. Besides the adventurous bites, the highlights of the gastropub/sports bar inclue their happy hour and 31 television screens.

The brand new establishment doesn't have a stench of past losses and stale beer, dirty sports memorabilia or obstructed views. Instead, The Gryphon caters to the sports aficionado who's looking for small plates while catching up on every score ESPN broadcasts.
