Moments later, sparks fly as the tornado rips through what the men say are power lines.

As the tornado gets closer and debris continues to hit the car's windshield, Clarke begins to drive away, slowly at first before accelerating to escape its path.

The Age reports that the tornado injured as many as 20 people who required medical care, as well as an additional 80 "walking wounded."
