M83 'Oblivion' Title Track Revealed, Features Norwegian Singer Susanne Sundfør (AUDIO)

LISTEN: M83 Releases Title Song From Tom Cruise Blockbuster

Disappointed that there isn't a new Florence + The Machine song to add to your gym playlist this spring? M83 is here to help. The band, represented by Anthony Gonzalez, worked on the music for the upcoming Tom Cruise film "Oblivion," and teamed with Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør for the film's title song, a pop anthem that Florence Welch could cover at future live events.

As Spin notes, M83 worked with Joseph Trapanese on the score and song -- the same man who helped Daft Punk with the score for "Tron: Legacy." (Both films were directed by Joseph Kosinski.)

In the post-apocalyptic "Oblivion," Cruise stars as drone repairman "assigned to extract Earth's remaining resources" who winds up embroiled in a mystery concerning what happened to cause the planet's ultimate demise. (Comparisons have been made online to "WALL*E.")

The film is out on April 19; look for the "Oblivion" soundtrack on April 9.
