Stella McCartney, meet Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II, meet Stella McCartney. The accomplished English designer received high honors on Tuesday when the Queen bestowed her with an official Order of the British Empire.

"I feel proud and blessed to be here. This is the kind of moment in one's life that feels surreal. I am so grateful for this honor," McCartney told WWD of her OBE.

The outfitter of Liv Tyler, Chrissy Teigen and Brooklyn Decker -- and that's just one dress -- as well as the designer of the 2012 Olympic uniforms, McCartney's ubiquity and success only continue to rise.

And McCartney is in good company: Sarah Burton, of Alexander McQueen fame, received the OBE honors last year. Our logical conclusion for McCartney's next project, then: dressing Kate Middleton?

Accompanied by her husband, Alasdhair Willis, McCartney wore a smartly tailored navy skirt suit of her own design, of course. She accessorized with a jeweled headpiece by Cartier to receive this jewel in her crown, so to speak.
