Joan Rivers On Adele: 'She's Fat,' 'Calm Down Or Lose Weight!' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Joan Rivers GOES THERE

In a recent interview with David Letterman, Joan Rivers mocked Adele's weight, saying the singer should have named her hit song "Rolling in the Deep Fried Chicken." In an interview with HuffPost Live host Marc Lamont Hill Friday, Rivers didn't back down from those comments.

"She's a chubby lady who's very, very rich, and she should just calm down -- or lose weight!" Rivers said.

Rivers joked that she had a creative solution when Adele requested an apology for those initial comments: she "took an ad out on [Adele's] ass."

"Adele is beautiful and successful," Rivers said. "Let's face reality: she's fat!"

Rivers didn't limit her sharp-tongued humor to just Adele: she also said she wants Tom Cruise to come out of the closet, trashed Ann Curry and blasted (again) Jay Leno, saying the "Tonight Show" host "doesn't f***ing get it."
