Rachel Bilson Talks Style For A Hot Date, Affirms What We All Know In Cosmopolitan (PHOTOS)

Rachel Bilson has pretty enviable style, so we're always happy to hear the actress dish on how to master a look. The latest fashion issue she's tackled for us? Dressing for a hot date.

The brunette covers May Cosmopolitan in a feathered pink dress, which isn't exactly the laid back Rachel we're used to (we're more accustomed to this type of thing). Of course, when the 31-year-old is getting ready for a night out with boyfriend Hayden Christensen, she knows exactly how to play it:

“Guys are so visual. I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt.”

Obviously, this isn't shocking insight -- it's no secret that men prefer women less, er, clothed. It is a little surprising, however, to hear this from the same woman who once denounced "slutty dresses" (her words, not ours).

Then again, Rachel was just confused for a child at the airport (yes, really). So perhaps tight and short is the way to go for her? Plus, we can't say we don't agree with her on this one. So tell us: Do you have the same date night strategy as the actress?
