Toddler's Incredible Performance Of Billy Collins Poem Is The Perfect Way To Celebrate National Poetry Month (VIDEO)

Well, this is absolutely adorable.

What better way to celebrate the beginning of National Poetry Month than with the innocent, haunting and insanely impressive oeuvre of celebrated young poetry performer Samuel Chelpka?

Chelpka's performance of Billy Collins's "Litany" was posted to great acclaim in 2010; the young fan even met Collins in person after his rendition of the piece went viral. Brain Pickings and Explore editor Maria Popova resurfaced the video when she tweeted it today.

As for his wider repertoire, Chelpka has also recited Billy Collins's "Walking Across The Atlantic" to a stuffed dolphin, performed Alfred, Lord Tennyson's "The Eagle" in a Superman costume and taken his talents onstage at TEDxPhoenix. We'll leave you to decide which of those things is the coolest.
