Producer/writer Judd Apatow is certainly no longer one of the "Freaks And Geeks." Along with his wife, actress Leslie Mann, Apatow is absolutely living the pretty people life, and has been for a while.

The successful Hollywood filmmaker plunked down major coin for a home in the exclusive Malibu Colony neighborhood, confirms The Huffington Post. The $10.865 million deal closed March 19 and was first reported by real estate blog Trulia.

The 2,550 square-foot beachfront bungalow had been listed for $10.95 million in February, notes Curbed LA, and once belonged to Laura Ziskin, the late producer of "Pretty Woman."

Built in the 1930s, the bungalow has three ensuite bedrooms, a sunroom and a separate guest house. The home's unique features also include a glass wall in the master suite overlooking the ocean, a fireplace and a gourmet kitchen, according to the original listing.

Of course, the summer home probably won't be the Apatow family's home base. Apatow also owns a 10,000 square foot home in Brentwood that he purchased in 2009 for $18.25 million, according to public records.

His most recent works include the film "This Is 40," in which he cast his entire family, and the HBO TV series "Girls." Apatow is currently filming a sequel to "Anchorman," starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd.
