DETROIT -- Detroit Interim Police Chief Chester Logan confirmed at a news conference at Henry Ford Hospital Tuesday that two law enforcers were shot and suffered nonfatal injuries while pursuing a homicide suspect.
The chase began about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday near the 3700 block of 25th in Detroit when officers attempted to stop a man Logan said was wanted as a suspect in a March 28 homicide.
