Juanes On 'Live! With Kelly & Michael': Colombian Star Shares Personal Memories And Performs In Spanish (VIDEO)

WATCH: Juanes Was Just Adorable

As part of his most recent national tour Colombian star Juanes made a quick stop at the “Live! With Kelly & Michael” show to promote his new memoir “Chasing the Sun" and share a little bit of his music... in Spanish.

The multiple Grammy award winner took the opportunity to talk about his beginnings in his natal Colombia, and how he fell in love with music. Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan quickly showed a couple of funny pictures of the singer as a little kid and a rocker teenager.

“I started when I was seven years old. I started because my brothers and my parents used to sing a lot of tango music, music from South American, folk music,” said the songwriter. “Then I fell in love with the guitar and I started to play guitar. And then when I was 14 years old, I got crazy with rock music.”

But as if listening to Juanes speaking in English about his beloved country and seing him as a child wasn’t adorable enough, the artist then proceeded to also preform “A Dios Le Pido,” one of the songs that first helped launch his music career internationally.

In his first book Juanes shares his most personal stories during his journey to the top, facing his fears and chasing his dreams. The artist is currently visiting several cities to meet and greet fans and sign his book.

He is also planning to star a nationwide concert tour starting in May, and is expected be in charge of aspecial opening for ABC's “Dancing With The Stars'" "Latin Night" on April 29th.

At the beginning of the year, the singer also debuted performing at the 55th Grammy Awards celebration where he conquered both the Latin and Anglo worlds with a bilingual performance of Elton John's romantic hit "Your Song."
