'Thrift Shop' Parody Celebrates Couple's Engagement (VIDEO)

WATCH: The 'Thrift Shop' Parody You Have To See

We've never seen an engagement video quite like this before!

David Tester and his fiance, K.K. Filkins, filmed a parody of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" called "Bling Shop," just minutes after Tester popped the question last month. Fittingly, they changed the song's lyrics to celebrate their engagement, reciting lines like, "I'm gonna pop that ring/Takin' that baby girl off the market/I-I-I like it, putting a ring on it/She is freaking awesome." Watch the entire parody in the video above (see Tester's proposal at the very end).

Tester, owner of video production company 1577 Productions, told HuffPost Weddings that he first saw the "Thrift Shop" video a few months ago and fell in love with it instantly.

"K.K. is an incredible woman who loves large-scale fun, so I thought it would be perfect to combine my skills as a videographer and her passion for the fun and ridiculous into a very unique proposal," Tester said.

Unbeknownst to Filkins, in the weeks leading up to the proposal, Tester and Filkins' brother came up with the lyrics, and Tester storyboarded every shot. On March 16, Tester took Filkins to a restaurant in Oklahoma City and popped the question. Filkins said "yes" -- then, Tester told her about his idea for the video.

She said "yes" to the video too, so over the next four hours, the couple and their friends and family (the dancing boy wearing glasses is Filkins' three-year-old son, Judah) shot the video at the cafe and around Oklahoma City. Tester's brother recorded the vocals in his studio, and Tester posted the video to YouTube on Monday.

"It was such a great way to memorialize a great day that changed both our lives forever. I'll always have this video as a reminder of what a great day it was," Filkins said. "I literally couldn't have asked for anything better from David. He knew exactly what would give my heart sunshine. "
