Bryan Fischer Of The American Family Association Advises Mother To Leave Gay-Friendly Church

A Gay-Friendly Church Will 'Destroy' Children In 'Body And Soul And Spirit,' Pundit Claims

The American Family Association 's Bryan Fischer minced no words when asked about his stance on gay-friendly churches.

Fischer, whose anti-gay remarks have a near-weekly staple of his broadcasts, told one mother on his "Focal Point" radio show that exposing her children to a gay-friendly parish would "destroy them in body and soul and spirit," Right Wing Watch first reported.

"Don't even go back this Sunday," Fischer told the caller. "You find a church where you've got a happily married pastor who believes in the family, teaches the truth...honors marriage and has a biblical view of homosexuality."

Earlier this year, Fischer drew a bizarre link between women in combat and the "sinister, malicious" bullying from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. He also slammed President Barack Obama's inaugural address, pointing to -- you guessed it -- the historic segments on LGBT rights.
