WATCH: Ali Velshi Signs Off

Longtime CNN anchor Ali Velshi signed off for the last time on Friday.

Velshi announced last week that he is leaving CNN for Al Jazeera America to develop and host a primetime business show.

The network said in a statement, "The as yet-to-be named 30-minute magazine-style program will initially launch in a weekly format but is expected to move to a five-days-a-week schedule by year’s end."

Velshi bid viewers farewell at the end of his CNN show, "Your Money" on Friday. He said:

So for the first time, I can't tell you that I'll be back next week. You can still follow me on Twitter and on Facebook. Keep watching this space, it's been my home at CNN for many years and it will continue in capable and familiar hands ... Mostly, thanks to you for watching ... I'll miss you more than you know. Until we meet again, I'm Ali Velshi.
