Daft Punk Skrillex Remix: Jack Conte Brings Together Electronic Giants In Mesmerizing Video (VIDEO)

WATCH: Best Mashup Ever?

If there's one thing French electronic duo Daft Punk shares with American dubstep phenom Skrillex, it's the sense of dance music as arena-packing spectacle.

While Daft Punk has its iconic pyramid and Skrillex has his own "wubwubwub"-powered spaceship, translating that same kind of jaw-dropping visual aesthetic to YouTube's small screen can be tricky.

However, if there's anyone who can do it, its San Francisco Bay Area native Jack Conte, whose mashup of Daft Punk and Skrillex uses nothing but a Launchpad music controller placed atop a flat-screen TV.

Conte made his name as one-half of musical duo Pomplamoose, whose covers of pop songs, most notably Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" drew worldwide acclaim.

If this remix whets your whistle for more Daft Punk, the duo's fourth full length album, "Random Access Memories," comes out on May 21. Conte is releasing his own new EP this Spring.
