This week, he and his friends have done another awkwardly sweet social experiment in which they hug strangers on South Beach's Lincoln Road for an awkwardly long time.

Did they get punched? Did partygoers try to get them to go to Score?

When Hales did a similar hugging experiment on Los Angeles's Venice Beach, he was met with a mostly friendly response. One man even commented "Dude, we need this everywhere at all times."

Those on South Beach can at least considered themselves nicer than those in Rome, where Hales even struck out with nuns.
