High culture gets in the spotlight when Sesame Street's "People In Your Neighborhood" YouTube series drops in on the New York Philharmonic's Music Director Alan Gilbert at the Lincoln Center.

The famous conductor talks to Murray Monster, a curious, screechy creature who is eager to learn more about the inner workings of an orchestra. Gilbert conducts a group of Juilliard students in a rendition of Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" (Serenade No. 13 for strings in G major), with Mr. Monster on the cymbals.

We really have to give it to Gilbert for being such a good sport!

The segment will air on Thursday, April 11 on PBS.
