The Lifetime soap, which is executive produced by former "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry and star Eva Longoria, will make its debut on Sunday, June 23 at 10 p.m. ET. "Devious Maids" was originally developed for ABC, but when the network passed, Lifetime picked it up.
The show stars Ana Ortiz ("Ugly Betty"), Dania Ramirez ("Entourage"), Roselyn Sanchez ("Without a Trace"), Edy Ganem ("Livin' Loud") and Judy Reyes ("Scrubs") as maids who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills.
In the "Devious Maids" series premiere, the close-knit group of maids turns to one another for support when their fellow maid Flora (Paula Garces) is murdered at her employer's home during a big society event.
"All My Children" veteran Susan Lucci is also part of the "Devious Maids" ensemble cast, as well as Mariana Klaveno of "True Blood" fame and former "Melrose Place" and "Swing Town" star Grant Show.
"We are glad the show has found a home," Ortiz told HuffPost via email when Lifetime picked up the show to series. "It is going to be such a thrill to work alongside these Devious Divas."
