'Ready For Love' Ratings: Viewers Skip NBC Dating Show

'Ready' ... Or Not

Despite aggressive promotion, a plum post-"Voice" timeslot and a big name behind it (Eva Longoria), "Ready For Love" failed to retain the singing competition's audience. According to NBC, 3.8 million viewers watched the premiere of the new dating competition series from 9-11 p.m. ET. The show had a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Its lead-in "The Voice" had 13 million viewers and a 4.2 rating from 8-9:01 p.m. ET.

Compared to other recent post-"Voice" ratings, "Ready For Love" was not a hit. On Tuesday, April 2, NBC aired "Go On" at 9 p.m. ET and that pulled in roughly 5 million viewers and a 1.9 rating. At 9:30 p.m., "The New Normal" had 3.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating and at 10 p.m., "Smash" had 3.1 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.

CBS remained champs in total viewers between 8 and 10 p.m. ET with "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA." At 8 p.m., "NCIS" delivered 16.7 million viewers and a 2.6 rating. "NCIS: LA" had 13.9 million viewers and a 2.6 rating at 9 p.m. ET. "Golden Boy" had 7.9 million viewers and a 1.5 rating at 10 p.m. ET.

"Ready For Love" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
