'STALKED AND TERRORIZED': Man Sentenced To Life For Murder

A Texas man who prosecutors say "stalked and terrorized" a woman he eventually murdered was sentenced to life in prison last week.

Roshan Sah, 25, "quickly became obsessed" with Linda Villanueva-Rodriguez, who he met at church at the end of 2010, according to the Tarrant County district attorney.

“This Defendant stalked and terrorized Linda for more than a year before murdering her shortly after Valentine’s Day,” Assistant District Attorney Steve Gebhardt said, according CBS DFW.

The district attorney described Sah's pursuit of the 22-year-old Villanueva-Rodriguez:

For several months Sah stalked Villanueva-Rodriguez, who had made it clear she was not interested in a romantic relationship with him. Sah followed her to her work and to her church and was suspected of slashing the tires on her car.

At one point, he left a single rose and a note at her job that read: “FOR LINDA! THE MORE YOU HATE ME THE MORE I WILL LOVE YOU! U CAN’T STOP ME FROM LOVING YOU!”

When Sah learned that Villanueva-Rodriguez had a boyfriend, he purchased a gun and staked out her apartment in Arlington. Villanueva-Rodriguez returned home on the night of Feb. 16, 2012, and Sah shot her in the head, according to the Star-Tribune. He was later arrested and pleaded guilty to murder.

Sah, a Nepalese citizen attending college in North Texas, must serve at least 30 years before he is eligible for parole.
