Kim Kardashian had nothing but nice things to say about Amanda Bynes earlier this week, and the former child star's parents are reportedly none too pleased about it.
RadarOnline reports that Bynes' parents are "very upset" over comments Kardashian made during her takeover of "Chelsea Lately" on April 8. While discussing the New York Post's report that Bynes had been kicked out of an adult gymnastics class after she showed up wearing fishnets and a leotard that looked like lingerie, the 32-year-old pregnant reality star offered positive comments about the former Nickelodeon star:
“Am I the only one who is obsessed with her new makeover? I think she looks amazing with the blonde hair and those nails," she said, and her sister Khloe agreed, adding:
“I love to wear fishnets to the gym. I don’t think that’s abnormal,” while Kourtney added that she also liked Bynes’ new look.
Sources told RadarOnline that Bynes' parents thought Kim's remarks were made in "poor taste and are very upset about it," as "it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to look at Amanda and surmise that she is having some sort of crisis."
The source told the website that the actress's parents are powerless to do anything because she is 27 years old, and legally there is very little they can do do help their daughter, since she refuses to get help.
Bynes herself just admitted on Twitter that she's no longer in contact with her parents, which no doubt makes them all the more concerned for her well-being:
I don't speak to my parents anymore, they don't talk to reporters on my behalf. Don't believe anything you read about me unless I tweet it.

As for the makeover that Kardashian was referring to, it includes Bynes' new cheek piercings and extremely poorly blended blond hair extensions.
Bynes wrote on Twitter that her extensions are so noticeable because she had to shave her head after a colorist at John Barrett Salon "fried" her hair with bleach and later "lied to In Touch" magazine -- referring to claims that Bynes began rubbing bleach through her hair with her hands when she didn't think her hair was blond enough.
The "She's The Man" star has been spending plenty of time in hair salons ever since, and a stylist whom she saw in Queens on Tuesday night, told RadarOnline the actress was "definitely on something.”
