Savannah Guthrie Nabs President Obama Exclusive For 'Today' Show

Savannah Guthrie's Big Get

NBC's "Today"show co-host Savannah Guthrie will sit down for an exclusive interview with President Obama.

The two-part interview will air on Tuesday and Wednesday's "Today" show. Guthrie previously interviewed Obama in September 2012 in a discussion that focused entirely on education policy for the network's Education Nation summit.

The airing of the first part of the interview coincides with the Senate's Gang of Eight unveiling their long-awaited plan for immigration reform. The plan is expected to include a bill that will detail a path for citizenship for the roughly 11 million undocumented immigrants living in America.

NBC News announced on Sunday that Guthrie will talk to the president about "tensions in North Korea, gun control, immigration and the prospects of who will run for president in 2016."

UPDATE -- 11:45 a.m. -- This post has been updated with new information about the interview.
