"It’s been a great ride. I wouldn’t have my husband, I wouldn’t have my two sons. I wouldn’t have half of the things in the excitement that I live today," Kim said. "I think she probably knows me better than anyone sitting here today."
"I think if anybody is really, genuinely happy for me, it would be NeNe," Kim added, before the two shared a warm embrace. And the love continued online, with NeNe tweeting a picture of the hug to her followers.
Kim took to Twitter as well, writing, "I was so sad walking out! It was hard for me to walk away but I was content with my hug from @NeNeLeakes we started this journey 2gether!
BuddyTV summed up the whole exchange with a heartfelt "Awww," while The Stir thought it was nice to see Kim exit "RHOA" gracefully. The big question now is whether or not fans can look forward to Kim and NeNe hanging out when Kim's spinoff, "Don't Be Tardy..." returns on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
The reunion isn't over yet for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Part Three airs next Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
