'Hemlock Grove' Trailer: Netflix Gives A Look At New Series Based On Brian McGreevy Novel (VIDEO)

A Terrifying New 'Hemlock Grove' Trailer Has Arrived

Netflix has released an all-new trailer for "Hemlock Grove," its upcoming original series, and it is very NSFW ... or maybe even not safe for life.

Though it doesn't reveal much for the plot, there is no shortage of screams, sex or gore in the new "Hemlock Grove" trailer.

Based on Brian McGreevy's novel by the same name, "Hemlock Grove" centers on the murder of a young girl; 17-year-old Peter Rumancek (Landon Liboiron), who's rumored to be a werewolf; and Roman (Bill Skarsgard), heir to the Godfrey estate who sets out to find the killer.

"I've been waiting for years to dive into television, and Eric Newman and I founded Arcade to do elevated genre projects exactly like 'Hemlock Grove,'" creator Eli Roth said in a statement. "Brian McGreevy's novel blew me away, and the material lends itself perfectly to long format storytelling. 'Hemlock Grove' is smart, dark, complex, and at times terrifying."

"Hemlock Grove" joins a growing list of streaming Netflix series: "Lilyhammer," starring Steven Van Zandt, premiered in February 2012; "House of Cards," starring Kevin Spacey, made its debut in February 2013; and a new season of "Arrested Development" is set to debut this May.

All 13 episode of "Hemlock Grove" will be available on Fri., April 19 on Netflix.
