A very fortunate 97-year-old grandmother in the Ukraine narrowly escaped death when she accidentally tumbled out of a fourth floor window and got entangled with an air-conditioning unit.
According to a Wednesday report on the Ukrainian news site TSN.ua, the miracle granny, who lives in Rivne, Ukraine, was saved from certain death when her leg got stuck in a bracket that supports an air-conditioning unit hanging on the outer wall of her apartment building.
The woman reportedly dangled in the air, yelling for help for about 30 minutes before first responders arrived to help her down.
Though few details are available about the grandma's dramatic fall, the Croatian Times reports that the woman -- who has been identified as Angela Artyomova -- was cleaning her windows when she fell.
Artyomova was reportedly taken to the hospital immediately after her rescue. Though initially suffering from shock, doctors say the sprightly grandma was unharmed.
"97 and still cleaning windows, thinking and acting fast enough to grab the A/C? I wanna age like that," wrote one netizen after reading Artyomova's story on MSN.
