Secretary of State John Kerry -- who served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts from 1985 to 2013 -- made a major gaffe Thursday when he botched the name of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline," a song that's a major part of Boston Red Sox tradition.
Kerry later admitted to making the gaffe:
Kerry ADMITS GAFFE: "I meant Sweet Caroline. I want to make sure everybody knows I can sing Sweet Caroline, but I ain't singing it now."
